Here are some tips to help you get started in posting on the SE7ENZERO Forums!
If you haven't already please read the
Rules of Conduct before posting on the Message Boards.
TITLE
- When starting a new thread make the title have a description of what you are posting about. Something you don't want to do is to have a thread entitled "I NEED HELP". This doesn't give anyone a description of your thread. Instead try "I NEED HELP IN GOD OF WAR" or "I'M STUCK IN LEGEND OF ZELDA". And if it isn't game related but a technical issue then put small details in your title like "PROFILE PICTURE NOT UPLOADING". This will help the readers understand what you are posting then that way they can help you. Most people don't even read the post if they don't know what they are about to read when reading the title so try to be specific.
POSTS- When you have thought of your title think about what you're going to write. If your post is a help related topic then give the reader as much detail as possible about what you need help with. Be specific and don't be afraid to ask others for advice and ideas. But keep it somewhat simple although that might be hard when you're trying to be descriptive but you want something that will make your post understandable.
BE PATIENT- Be patient when you're seeking for a reply from someone. Don't go mad if no one has responded to your thread or post in an hour. Eventually someone will take a look and have the time to write to you back.
FINDING A THREAD TO REPLY TO- You want to find a thread that interests you or something you like discussing about. Try using the search bar to find posts that match your search description and you will find something. If you just can't find ANYTHING then you are free to make your own thread about the topic.
REPLYING- When you are replying to a post or topic keep it positive, if you have nothing poilite or good to say then don't reply at all! This will keep everyone happy and enjoy the forums.
